The Florida Education Association (FEA) representing more than 140,000 teachers and education staff professionals from across Florida’s 67 school districts, endorsed Ramon Alexander for State Representative House District 8.

For over a century, the FEA has been the leading advocate of raising the quality of education in Florida’s public schools, and of increasing the dignity and status of all teachers and education staff professionals.

“The teachers and employees of the Florida Education Association are proud to support Ramon as a champion of public schools and its employees. Ramon has demonstrated the skill, passion and commitment to move District 8 forward,” said Gadsden County Classroom Teachers Association (GCCTA) President Ronte Harris. “FEA and GCCTA look forward to new, bold and strong leadership on behalf of public education in 2016 and beyond,” said Harris.

The FEA is the most powerful public education advocacy group, the largest professional organization and education association in the state. The FEA uses united strength to improve the conditions of teaching and learning in public schools across the state for members and students.
